I thought I didn't have the answer but then one came....it's because they seem to be held in place by some wonderful and mysterious force...I think you love lilly pads because they remind you of how God holds us in very amazing and beautiful ways...seen and unseen. But maybe it's just me...I love lilly pads too...frogs..well that's another comment for another day. :)
